This, unfortunately, does not mean that insurance companies will immediately pay for them. That is a major process requiring backup studies and statistics. The good news is that we do have some studies in progress and are definitely pursuing those goals as expeditiously as possible. It will probably happen one insurance company at a time and we will put out advisory bulletins.

It has already been shown that if accurate detailed records are kept on improvements, insurance companies may accept a claim after the fact. The more requests and information they receive, the more likely they will start evaluating the concept as cost saving, which is of course, their main interest.

A medical device license does mean that a doctor can now prescribe the MagnetiCo sleep pad. The MagnetiCo sleep pad license number is 730, its device I.D. number is 185515.

This also means that the cost of the MagnetiCo sleep pad can be deducted as an allowable medical expense, following tax return guidelines, of course. With this in mind, please retain your MagnetiCo invoice with your tax records, as we do not have the staff to fill many requests for copies during tax time.

The studies in progress are exciting! Unfortunately, we cannot release any data until they are published in a medical journal. This acceptance and publishing period can take months. You can be sure we will releasing the data the minute it is available. We know it will be a help to you in substantiating the excellent long term value of "Power- Sleeping" on the MagnetiCo Classic and Super Sleep Systems.
