Last year a report in a prestigious medical journal described how magnets could relieve the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy, usually manifesting as complaints of pain, burning sensations, and/or loss of feeling in the lower extremities. There is no treatment for this condition, which tends to become progressively worse. The report described how such patients had relief of their pain following the continual use of magnetic insoles. At the end of four months, three out of four patients reported their pain had disappeared.
